The Indiana Center for Musculoskeletal Health (ICMH) Repository is the result of the effort of the Musculoskeletal Function, Imaging and Tissue Resource Core (MSK-FITRC), supported by a NIH/NIAMS funded P30- ICCCR grant. The goal is to facilitate research to better understand the pathogenesis and definition/clinical presentations of musculoskeletal disorders.

The MSK-FITRC provides standardized assessments of physical function tests and bone/muscle imaging collated in a single database connected to patient medical records. Most of the patients have corresponding blood specimens. We also have separate muscle, bone, cartilage, and synovial tissues collected during operative procedures or muscle biopsy. The patients are age 5 to 100 with no exclusion criteria and thus may include individuals with specific disease states, musculoskeletal disorders or healthy volunteers.

The ICMH Repository database includes data from Balance Test, Usual Gait Speed Test, Fast Gait Speed Test, SF-36 Questionnaire, Repeat Chair Stands Test, PROMIS Questionnaire, Falls Questionnaire, 6 Minute Walk Test, and imaging data from DXA and HR-pQCT scans.
